Huge success: Bytown Cup raises over $8000 for Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre

We helped raise over $8000 ($8073.44 to be exact!) for Ottawa-Rape-Crisis-Centre at this weekend's The ByTown Cup events!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to rock with us at Beyond the Pale Brewing Company, bid on all those silent auction goodies and hung out for this inaugural fun and inclusive hockey tournament.

We're honoured to have been a part of such a positive community event!

Thanks to Coastal Pigs for taking this solid Warhol vibe pic of our set. ??

Expanda Fuzz was conceived attempting to rip apart a Pink Floyd song with a distorted bass and a fuzz-driven guitar through a ripped speaker cabinet...while playing to a Roland 404 sampler. The result of that experiment can be heard on the duo’s records, where they showcase their brand of catchy, droney, post-punk songs that hook heavily into a psych-garage sound.

Think Kim Deal fronting the Velvet Underground, or Mary Timony jamming with Suicide. For more info, check out the bio page.
